Benjamin F. Miller Dr. Miller is Director of The Eugene S. Farley, Jr. Health Policy Center and Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine. He received his doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky. He completed his predoctoral internship at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he trained in primary care psychology and worked as a postdoctoral fellow in primary care psychology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. He has been principal investigator on federal grants, state contracts, and foundation grants focused on integrating behavioral health and primary care. He is a technical expert panelist on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Innovations Exchange, on the International Advisory Board of the British Journal of General Practice, the past President of the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association, and faculty for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative (CPCI) program. Dr. Miller often travels speaking on clinical, operational and financial components of integrating mental health and primary care as well as the policy implications for these models.
