Scott Hewitt (UnitedHealthcare)
Mr. Hewitt serves on the Strategy and Innovation team for UnitedHealthcare’s national network of over 650,000 doctors & health care professionals and 5200 hospitals. In his current role, Scott oversees a dedicated team accountable for the value based contracting programs across all lines of business (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Military & Veterans). Scott has over 15 years of health care experience, of which nine have been at UnitedHealthcare. Prior to his current role, Scott held a number of positions within UnitedHealthcare, exposing him to contract negotiations & strategy, reimbursement methodologies, and operations. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
