Stephanie Brown* (Boston Consulting)
Stephanie Jordan Brown manages the US Health Care Payer and Provider Knowledge Team within The Boston Consulting Group Center for Knowledge and Analytics. In this capacity she supports the development of intellectual property related to advancing health system change, as well as advises BCG consulting teams on client engagements and business development opportunities.
Before joining BCG in January, Stephanie was Vice President of Transformation & Integration for the Massachusetts Behavioral Health Partnership (MBHP), a Beacon Health Options Company providing behavioral health managed care services to MassHealth. At MBHP she led the development and implementation of strategies related to health care reform, alternative payment, and behavioral health integration; and served as an advisor to MassHealth on the design of Medicaid ACOs and Health Homes.
Prior to joining MBHP Ms. Brown was Senior Director of Business Planning and Integration for the Health & Wellness division of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. During her tenure at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Stephanie managed organizational readiness and quality & safety programs leading up to and supporting the introduction BCBSMA’s Alternative Quality Contract.
A seasoned leader and consultant whose expertise combines research, strategic planning, organizational design and effectiveness, Stephanie has led transformation initiatives in industries as diverse as public education, telecommunications, oilfield services, and most recently health care. She holds a Masters in Social Science from the University of Chicago, and received her Bachelor’s degree from Harvard College.
