Jesse Gubb, Ph.D., is a senior research manager at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) North America, a research center that works to ensure that policy is informed by scientific evidence. He leads teams that implement randomized evaluations of social policies and programs, develops and publishes research resources, and provides training on randomized evaluations to the research community, policymakers, and practitioners. Dr. Gubb partners with external organizations, such as the Camden Coalition, and academic researchers to design and conduct randomized evaluations primarily in health care delivery, focusing on both long-term and rapid “test and learn” evaluations.
Jesse holds a Ph.D. in political science from Harvard University and a B.A. in political science from Middlebury College.
