Frederick Isasi (Pronunciation: ee-saa-cee), J.D., M.P.H., is executive director of Families USA (FUSA), one of the nation’s leading non-profit, non-partisan healthcare advocacy organizations established to ensure the best health and healthcare are equally accessible and affordable to all. Before joining FUSA, Isasi was a division director at the bipartisan National Governors Association and vice president and founder of the health policy department at the Advisory Board Company. Isasi also previously served as senior legislative counsel on healthcare for U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman (D-N.M.), which allowed him to apply years of leadership from the healthcare industry. As a national thought leader and subject matter expert on the social issues and solutions surrounding healthcare affordability, driving value into healthcare, equitable healthcare, and high-quality coverage, Isasi has testified often at congressional hearings and is regularly featured in national media outlets, including The New York Times, NBC, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. He holds a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law, a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin.
