Frank Bordonaro (Anthem) Frank Bordonaro, MS, is Staff Vice President for Payment Innovation ACO Strategy at Anthem. He is a thought-leader in value-based care. In his current role, he is responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of Anthem’s industry leading value-based payment Total Cost of Care (TCOC) programs. This portfolio of programs includes over eighty thousand providers managing over eight million attributed members, and influences $40 Billion in population medical expense. Mr. Bordonaro also drives the content in Anthem’s Population Health Analytics tool, providing patient registries, risk-stratification, site of care steerage, transitions of care data, and predictive analytics to drive successful transitions to value-based care.
Prior to joining Anthem, Mr. Bordonaro served in executive roles at Allscripts and Zirmed, leading product and development to enable provider success in accountable care. Solutions delivered included Population Health Analytics, Clinical Data Aggregation, Meaningful Use Reporting, Clinical Decision Support, and Care Management. He has also held various technical and management roles with Cisco Systems and IBM and holds 25 US Patents. Mr. Bordonaro has a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of New York at Buffalo and a Master of Science in computer engineering from Syracuse University.
