This session will feature Drs. Rahul Rajkumar, Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina; Mandy Cohen, Secretary, North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services; and Wesley Burks, Chief Executive Officer, UNC Health Care, to discuss new initiatives being implemented in North Carolina that aim to shift health care payment and care delivery away from fee-for-service, towards value. They will expand on how they have overcome barriers and challenges, succeeded in building public-private partnerships, and increased alignment across these initiatives, speaking from the commercial payer, state payer, and provider voices.
