Katherine Brieger (HRHCare) Ms. Brieger has been associated with HRHCare for over 30 years. She is currently the Chief of Patient Experience and Staff Development. In this current position, she is responsible for all programming, training and evaluation of patient experience. As one of the leading quality metrics for HRHCare, this position is actively engaged in performance improvement. Ms. Brieger leads all staff training and development in HRHCare under the Planetree Institute. As a Planetree Affiliate, HRHCare has been committed to patient centered care and designing programs which enhance the patient experience.
Currently, Ms. Brieger is serving as a Practice Transformation TA Expert working with practices in New York State-through a special project assisting practices in achieving NYS PCMH recognition.
Ms. Brieger is recognized as a National expert in several areas of health care, specifically the area of patient experience, integration of patients in quality programs, diabetes management with the use of CHWs. During the last five years, she has presented to groups including Crain’s, the IOM, PCCC, Health Outreach Partners, and NCQA.
