Associate Director of Health Information Technology Programs at the National Partnership for Women & Families

Dr. Erin A. Mackay is the associate director of health information technology programs at the National Partnership for Women & Families. Her work focuses on managing and growing the Consumer Partnership for eHealth (CPeH) coalition, as well as expanding outreach to state- and local-level consumer advocates.

Prior to joining the National Partnership, Mackay worked for the Healthcare Leadership Council (HLC) for five years, where she was responsible for monitoring implementation of delivery system and payment reform initiatives. She oversaw the creation and publication of the HLC Value Compendium and helped manage the HLC-run and health privacy policy-focused Confidentiality Coalition.

Mackay has undergraduate degrees in English literature and women and gender studies from the University of Virginia. She received a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in community health from George Mason University, where she graduated with honors.
