Doug Johnson joined Anthem in 2008 and is the Staff Vice President of Provider Services. In his current role, Doug leads the payment innovation and provider collaboration strategy and execution teams for Anthem’s Government Business Division. He has more than 10 years of healthcare experience. This experience spans a number of leadership roles that included large-scale process improvement initiatives, departmental operations ownership, new business implementation, and network development. This experience provides a unique insight across the continuum of provider contracting and operations. Doug has a B.S in Economics from Clemson University.
