*Aparna Higgins (Ananya Health Solutions LLC) Aparna Higgins is President and CEO of Ananya Health Solutions LLC, Policy Fellow at The Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, and a Visiting Scholar at The Heller School of Social Policy and Management, Brandeis University. She is a recognized leader and strategic thinker in payment and delivery system reform, quality measurement, and healthcare analytics with experience in both public and private sector healthcare programs. She specializes in the strategic deployment of healthcare analytics to drive reform strategies and decision-making. She is currently advising government and private sector clients on strategic and policy issues related to payment reform including best practices and innovative models.Prior to Ananya Health Solutions, she was Senior Vice President, Private Market Innovations and Center for Policy and Research at America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) for nearly a decade. At AHIP she led her organizational efforts in healthcare analytics, payment and delivery system reform, and quality measurement, including working in collaboration with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to establish a national multi-stakeholder initiative called the Core Quality Measures Collaborative. Prior to AHIP, she was at Booz Allen Hamilton where she led a team of health services researchers focused on studies related to value-based purchasing, quality measurement, electronic health record (EHR) adoption, HIV simulation modeling, and cost-benefit analysis.
