Marti Rosenberg (State of Rhode Island)

Since October 2015, Marti Rosenberg has been the project director of Rhode Island’s State Innovation Model Test Grant (SIM). Rhode Island’s $20 million SIM grant is aimed at health system transformation, helping the state move from a volume-based system to one focused on value. Before leading SIM, Marti was the program director of The Providence Plan’s Health Initiative, through which she founded the Health Insurance Small Employer Taskforce and led the HealthSource RI Outreach Team, which spearheaded enrollment in HealthSource RI’s insurance coverage. From 2006 through 2010, Marti served as development director of USAction in Washington, DC, raising seed money for Health Care for America NOW. Marti also currently serves as an adjunct professor at Brown University’s A. Alfred Taubman Center for Public Policy and American Institutions.
