Kevin L. Bowman (Anthem) Dr. Kevin L. Bowman serves as Staff VP, Enterprise Clinical Quality at Anthem in Corporate Clinical Quality Management (CCQM). His team is responsible for dashboards and reporting for quality metrics and scores, patient safety, and evaluating Quality Improvement (QI) programs across all lines of business to determine impacts on quality.
Dr. Bowman is trained in both clinical medicine and public health, and is board certified in Preventive Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, his Master of Business Administration from Widener University, and his Master of Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Bowman completed a residency in Preventive Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. He served as a consultant to the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) where he advised and participated in various performance measurement projects.
