Christiane LaBonte (CMS) Christiane LaBonte is with Payment Policy for the Division of Advanced Primary Care at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). She has served as a principal architect of the Comprehensive Primary Care initiative and its successor Comprehensive Primary Care Plus (CPC+), national programs aimed at strengthening primary care through an advanced primary care medical home model. Prior to joining CMS, she conducted health policy research at the Health Research and Educational Trust and for the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs, respectively, at the Center for Naval Analyses. She holds degrees from Syracuse University and the University of Michigan.
