Anshu Choudhri (BCBSA) Anshu has been with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association for twelve years. In his current role in the Office of Policy and Representation, Anshu is responsible for advising BCBSA leadership on legislative and regulatory policy analysis, with an emphasis on various components of the Affordable Care Act, delivery system reform, MACRA, rising prescription drug costs, substance use disorder, healthcare quality, and network adequacy. Across these content areas, Anshu works with BCBS Plans to develop consensus opinion on proposed regulations and legislation and is responsible for the development of comment letters to various government agencies or responses to Congressional requests for information. Additionally, Anshu works closely with government agencies, Congressional staff and industry stakeholders in Washington to represent the BCBS Plan perspective and to develop partnerships for future collaboration.
