Senior Director, Network Advancement, Iowa Primary Care Association and IowaHealth+

Aaron Todd serves as the Senior Director of Network Advancement for the Iowa Primary Care Association and IowaHealth+. In this role, Aaron leads healthcare innovation efforts across the clinically and financially integrated network of community health centers in Iowa focused on improving patient outcomes while reducing total healthcare costs. Aaron also oversees policy research and advocacy, and manages the Iowa Safety Net Provider Collaborative and the Iowa Association of Rural Health Clinics. Previously, Aaron worked for the Iowa Legislature, leading research and negotiations on health and human services policy and budget decisions on behalf of the Senate Majority, including Medicaid expansion and the redesign of Iowa’s county-based mental health and disability services system. Prior to his work in healthcare policy, Aaron’s career focused on community development, a passion of his that he now pursues through service on numerous boards of directors and city commissions. Aaron earned a Master in Public Policy from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University.
