Susan Brown (Telligen) Susan Brown is Health IT Director for Telligen, a Population Health Management company in West Des Moines, IA. She currently leads Telligen’s efforts in CMS’ Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPI) – Practice Transformation Network, seeking to assist over 7,000 providers with preparations for the advanced service delivery and payment models set forth in MACRA/MIPS. She was previously Director of Iowa’s Health IT Regional Extension Center, which provided technical assistance to over 1,500 primary care providers and 84 critical access and rural hospitals on the meaningful use of certified EHRs. Susan is heavily involved in population health management solutions strategy for Telligen and also participates in the internal MACRA/MIPS workgroup.
Susan is on the State Health Information Exchange Advisory Board, the Iowa HIMSS Board and a local community college Health IT Program Board. Prior to Telligen, Susan was a Project Manager for Kaiser Permanente Medical Group in northern California. She holds a Masters degree in Public Health – Health Services Administration from UCLA and an undergraduate Business degree.
