4F: Adopting Multi-Payer and All-Payer Payment Models in States

States play a key role in driving alternative payment model adoption. This session will highlight various efforts in four states to implement payment models that incorporate multiple payers, including commercial payers, Medicaid, and Medicare. States will discuss the steps involved to move toward multi-payer or all-payer APMs, including successes and challenges in adopting these models. Speakers include: Al Gobeille (Vermont Green Mountain Care Board), Tom Curtis (Michigan Department of Health and Human Services), and Stephen Cha (CMS).
