Payment reform should support evidence-based care delivery models that improve care cost effectively. CMS, through CMMI has funded models of care delivery that have the promise to create better care, smarter spending, and healthier people. Awardees funded through the Health Care Innovation awards were tasked with developing payment models to sustain their interventions which required direct interactions with payers. On this panel you’ll hear from providers who have been negotiating directly with payers to design / negotiate payment models that support their innovative evidence-based models to succeed.
