2H: Overview of the Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC)

Join Elizabeth Mitchell, President and CEO of the Network for Regional Healthcare Improvement, for a presentation on the Physician- Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC). Created by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015, the PTAC is charged with making recommendations to the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on proposals for physician-focused payment models. The PTAC is currently accepting letters of intent for submissions, and will begin accepting full proposals on December 1, 2016. Elizabeth currently serves as Vice Chair of the Committee and will provide a brief history of the group, an overview its methods and criteria, and take questions from stakeholders.
