Patrick Gordon – RMHP

Patrick Gordon, MPA, serves as associate vice president of community integration for Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP). In addition to his role as executive director of the Colorado Beacon Consortium, he is also leading the implementation of the Medicaid Accountable Care Collaborative project in western and northern Colorado. Mr. Gordon is accountable for an array of payment reform, health data exchange, and behavioral health services integration initiatives. He provides oversight of the Medicaid, Dual Eligible, and CHP+ programs supported by the health plan, including the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation’s Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative. He has led and implemented several strategic projects for RMHP and stakeholders in Colorado, including: the design and implementation of an aligned payment arrangement with the state of Colorado and participating physicians to achieve Triple Aim objectives; the implementation of a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug program and targeted coverage arrangements for dual eligible beneficiaries. Prior to joining RMHP, Mr. Gordon held various positions within the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing related to Medicaid, CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program), and nursing facilities policy development and program management. He received his master of public administration degree in health policy and economics from the University of Colorado.
