With over 40 years’ experience in the health care industry, Eileen Testa is currently working as the administrator for one of the country’s first level-III patient-centered medical home internal medical practices. Ninth Street Internal Medicine (NSIM) is a premiere practice in Philadelphia and is highly respected. She was hired by them in 2006 and has been on an incredible journey ever since. Under the outstanding leadership of NSIM’s managing partner Allan L. Crimm, M.D., the group has navigated the waters of the value-based care model swimmingly.
With a business/accounting degree from Temple University, Ms. Testa has applied her knowledge in day-to-day management of the financial planning for NSIM as well as in overseeing their population health team to ensure quality care goals are not only met but exceeded.
Prior to taking on her role at NSIM, Ms. Testa was an ambulatory corporate director for a large health system in southern New Jersey and responsible for all departments outside the main hospital settings, including family health centers, senior health centers, ambulance services, and hospital-owned physician practices. For a short period of time, Ms. Testa was a preschool teacher and honestly thinks this was by far her favorite job she’s ever had. If only she could give cookies to disgruntled patients and doctors and get them to see things her way!
