Gosia Sylwestrzak (Humana Healthcare Research at Humana) Gosia Sylwestrzak, MA, leads a team of 35 research professionals at Humana Healthcare Research, a research arm of Humana. The team conducts studies in areas of policy, payment, care delivery, health equity, social determinants of health, and comparative effectiveness of pharmacotherapies as well as research with funding from the government and life science companies. Prior to her role at Humana, Gosia was a Research Director at Elevance Health (formerly Anthem, Inc) for 12 years, where she led a Payer Economics Research team conceptualizing and executing research studies in areas of provider consolidation, benefit design, health equity, health policy, and consumer engagement. Gosia is an economist by training and her work has been published, among others, in JAMA, Health Affairs, and American Journal of Managed Care.
