Amy Scanlan, M.D., is the chief medical officer of Trinsic, a physician-led clinically integrated network owned by UCHealth and Intermountain Health in Colorado. A family doctor who still sees patients, she has been in practice for over 25 years. She has worked in various practice settings, including a large, multi-specialty group practice, her own private practice, and a large, employed health system. She has also held various leadership roles, including being the SCL medical director of quality and innovation, medical director of primary care, and medical director of recruitment and provider experience. Dr. Scanlan is very familiar with value-based care models, having been part of an ACO practice for over 10 years and participated on committees and boards of ACOs during her tenure.
